Power Yoga: For the athlete. In this class we pick up the pace of our flow and work on strength and power. We spend a lot of time upside down building strength and gaining new perspective. This is a Level II class, not for beginners.
Vinyasa Flow: For all levels. This class is taught to all fitness levels, flexibility, and skill. Coming in with a working knowledge of yoga poses is helpful, but not required. This is a Level I class with options to advance your practice or dial it down. The nature of this class is vinyasa based, so expect to move your body at a decent pace. Prana Flow: For all levels, with heavy emphasis on breath, alignment, and moving from the core. Yoga is misunderstood by many to be only gentle in nature. In a flow class, many times the alignment gets sloppy. The intention of this class is to break down poses and use lots of props to assist students to feel the correct alignment of the poses. This class is great for beginners and advanced students alike!
YIN Yoga: In contrast to yang yoga (vinyasa/flow classes) which focus more on musculature strength and flexibility, yin targets the connective tissue between those muscles and the whole body’s fascia. During yin yoga we will hold restorative poses for longer periods allowing the muscles to relax and disengage in order to reach and lengthen the connective tissue. Through deep breathing and stillness, yin increases flexibility, relaxation and emotional peace.
